Application Instructions
Singers will audition for the Verona Festival Singers by video submission. Because space is limited, no more than fifty singers will be selected, so early submission is strongly encouraged. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all ensemble positions have been filled.
Application does not guarantee acceptance. Each decision will be made with careful consideration of individual artistry and the overall needs of the ensemble. Audition results will be communicated as soon as possible after materials are received; in some cases, a decision may be deferred to maintain a balanced ensemble. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. To ensure delivery, please allow emails from choralplanet@gmail.com.
Applicants are encouraged to invite other fine musicians—especially those in different voice parts—to apply, helping ensure an excellent ensemble balance. For example, you may wish to gather an SATB quartet from among your musical colleagues. Not only will it be rewarding to spend time in Italy making music with friends you already know, but you’ll also have the convenience of built-in roommates and shared travel companions. However, each singer must audition and apply individually.
